Welcome to Unity FM - A Community Radio station serving the City of Birmingham

Ramadhan, the month of fasting is over. Eid-ul-Fitr has come and gone. Now is the time to re-energise that Ramadhan spirit and get involved with Unity FM, serve yourself and serve your community as a volunteer today. Unity FM needs you! 

 

GeekSPK Competition is CLOSED

The winners will be announced on the GeekSPK Forum very shortly, the 2 winners will also be contacted by email with details of their prize and how to claim it. Of course the answer was 'James Tiberius Kirk' - alas a lot of people gave the answer as Jame T Kirk and that was unfortunately not the answer we were looking for. Look out for next weeks competition where a nice shiny piece of hardware will be on offer - tune in FRIDAY 9PM to find out exactly what!
 
Out of the humble beginnings of 'Radio Ramadhan Birmingham' comes the phoenix of Unity FM, a non-profit making Community Radio station serving the needs of some of the most deprived wards in Birmingham. Unity FM is powered by the passion of our volunteers all wanting to see their local communities thrive. With its blend of mainly speech-based broadcast (in English but with provision for numerous community languages) we aim to get to grips with the issues that really affect our communities.
